At Sylvan Servers, we realize that this can often be difficult and time–consuming. This is why we’ll accomplish all that for you for free!Our highly professional technical team members will transfer your website content from your present provider to us. Our techs have got extensive experience with web site migration and can take care of everything – from a customary WordPress–driven blog or Joomla^™–based website, to an extremely elaborate, custom–built web application.

A: There are lots of variables to bear in mind – the overall number of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the current workload of our website migration professionals, etc. That being said, we do our very best to perform all web site migrations in a 48–hour time window. Smaller sites are migrated much faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: We will require the login information for your old hosting provider’s Control Panel and the website’s name (domain name).

We use safety measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and administrative operations to secure the details that we acquire on the Internet. A: Nah. Your website will stay reachable online during the transfer. Once everything is done on our end, we will tell you so that you can preview it and check for any problems. If everything’s alright, all you will need to do is edit your domain name’s DNS settings.

A: While we move your website content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the migration at all. We will never get in touch with them in any way.

A: Yup. We support all standard Linux–based hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–based hosting platforms, since we don’t provide Windows hosting solutions ourselves.Additionally, we don’t support proprietary web site creation and management tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
