Catch-all Emails
Discover just what a catch-all e-mail account is, how it operates and how to set up one.
A catch-all mailbox receives emails sent to nonexistent email addresses under the same domain. For example, an email message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. Thus, you can receive emails from pals or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a typographical error or to an old one, which they may still have, but you have already deleted. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at a certain point you may start receiving spam messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be delivered to a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting
Creating a catch-all email mailbox will be unbelievably easy in case you have a shared hosting service with us. You can enable this option through our powerful, albeit simple-to-work-with Email Manager, which is built into the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you will administer the web hosting account itself. You’ll see all the email addresses that you’ve set up listed alphabetically and on the right side of each of them there will be a small-size "Catch-all" icon, which will immediately show you if a specific mailbox receives all the emails associated with a certain domain or not. With a single click on the icon you can enable or disable the feature at any time. In case there is enabled email forwarding or in case another mailbox has already been configured as a catch-all one for a given domain, you will receive a warning notification from our system. The latter will not replace/disable anything automatically and without your consent.
- Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
The catch-all feature can be activated easily if you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you’ve created using the domains hosted in your semi-dedicated server account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you’ll find a tiny symbol conveniently located right next to each one. With just a mouse click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your desire on the condition that there isn't another mailbox under that same domain name with the option already enabled and there isn't enabled email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on an email address and activate the feature using the contextual menu that will come into sight. If any of the conditions for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not answered, our system will let you know, but will not replace or disable anything automatically. - Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
